With 14 participating colleges and universities, the University Center of Lake County  provides opportunities for students and adult learners to complete their degree locally and graduate from recognized educational institutions. Dr. Myra Gaytan Morales, Executive Director and Dean, highlights how the University Center creates a convenient academic environment while offering financial advantages that make higher education more accessible. Through flexible programs, students who have already earned first- and second-year credits can continue their educational journey by pursuing certificates, bachelor’s degrees, and advanced educational credentials closer to home.

CYN COUNSELING CENTER | GAIL WEIL

There is a growing need to continue discussion about addressing the mental health challenges within our community. Gail Weil, Executive Director of CYN Counseling Center, shares how CYN continues to provide a wide range of services that support individuals and families of all ages. She also offers practical recommendations on how community members can take proactive steps to strengthen and support their own mental health.
