Innovative approaches to foster integration of migrant and refugees children

Children and young people on the move are increasingly shaping the responses designed to support them. By working directly with migrant youth and local actors, Terre des hommes is advancing a localisation approach that places lived experience, leadership and decision-making closer to those concerned. These initiatives highlight how engaging young people as partners — rather than beneficiaries — can lead to more relevant, sustainable and protective responses along migration routes. Moderator:  Charlotte Lang  Panel:  Olsi Dudumi, Regional Coordinator for the Youth Migration Programme in Europe at Terre des Hommes  Dr. Rosemary James, Scientific Collaborator at the Geneva Centre of Humanitarian Studies,  Facultz of Medicine, University of Geneva  Ebrahim al Haidari, Master’s graduate from the Geneva Centre of Humanitarian Studies  Voices from the field:  Gnouma Augustin Tonguino, RIF Officer in Conakry, Guinea  From Hungary, we hear from Sofia, Timor, Igor, and Viktoria—four young Ukrainians now living in Budapest, who attend the local RIF.  From Guinea, where migration dynamics are very different, we meet Aboubakar and Elisabeth, two young RIF users in Conakry.  Articles :  Christopher Scala   Podcast produced by LaKriée Media [https://www.lakriee-media.ch/%22%20/t%20%22_blank]
