But John includes this unique account of a doubting disciple in his Gospel to persuade you to believe! Christianity is not a blind faith, in the sense that it requires you abandon all reason and logic. Thomas is not rejected and turned away for wanting to investigate the claim of the resurrection of Christ. In fact, we will see that his persistent and honest pursuit of truth is answered with grace.
