We started a new series focusing on fixing our relationships.

Lord Please Help Me Find One More

We opened our camp with a lesson on understanding our role in bringing someone to Christ with the right attitude and trusting Jesus to take care of the rest. Note: I mistakenly said that Corporal Desmond Doss was in the Marine Corps and that the Marines took Hacksaw Ridge. It was the United States Army that fought at Hacksaw Ridge, and it was the Army that Corporal Doss served in. I apologize and will do better research in the future.

What makes you think you’re right with God?

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2568255/fan_mail/new] Watch enough crime shows or courtroom dramas, and you will hear, “I'm innocent,” or “I didn't do it.” Our human default is to justify ourselves. We make excuses ("It's not that bad"), we make comparisons ("At least I'm not as bad as that guy"), or we blame our circumstances. We will go the extra mile trying to prove we are "good enough." But trying to earn right standing with God through our own perfect performance is exhausting. Last Sunday, we wrapped up our Fix Your Faith series with the answer to this question: What Makes You Think You're Right With God? We are going to look honestly at what it means to stop defending our flaws, drop our arguments, and step into the incredible freedom of being justified by faith alone.

Faith In Action.

A check that is signed but never cashed is just a useless piece of paper. It holds immense promise, but until it is put into action, it changes nothing. The same is true for our faith! Join us as we look into James 2 for an encouraging message of "Faith In Action."  We are going to look honestly at what real, living faith looks like in our daily lives.
