#02 - Welcome to Priory Podcasts, brought to you by St Augustine’s Priory. This is the podcast to find out more about the school, the pupils, the parent community and even the staff. It’s all about discovering how girls at the school are changing the world. In this episode we speak to Head of Sixth Form, Mrs MacLennan about the Travel Scholarship. But not just Mrs MacLennan, we also speak to a Year 13 pupil, Simran, about her involvement in the programme, what she did, how this helped others, how the school helped her, and how it changed her as a person too. But we’re also fortunate enough to be joined by Simran’s mother, Swati, a very proud mother and rightly so. But enough from me and enough of this intro. It’s time to get into our episode so come with me now as we speak to Mrs MacLennan, Simran and her mother, Swati. School Website: https://www.sapriory.com/ [https://www.sapriory.com/]

The School Journey with Head Girl, Lucy and Headteacher, Christine Macallister

#04 - Welcome back to Priory Podcasts, brought to you by St Augustine’s Priory. This is the podcast to find out more about the school, the pupils, the parent community and even the staff. It’s all about discovering how girls at the school are changing the world. Today we have two people with us and I think you’re going to love this episode. New Headteacher, Christine Macallister is with us and she’s joined by Lucy, Head Girl for the school and Y13 pupil. We talk about what Lucy’s journey has been like because she joined the school quite a while ago, what the transition through the years has been like, what it’s like for all girls at school, what Lucy’s planning on doing when she leaves and how the school’s been helping her to go change the world. It’s great to hear from both our guests today and I’m sure you’re going to love it. Some come with me into a conversation with Head Girl, Lucy, and Headteacher, Christine Macallister. Outgoing Headteacher Sarah Raffray talk with Incoming Headteacher and current Deputy Head Academic Christine Macallister

#03 - Welcome to Priory Podcasts, brought to you by St Augustine’s Priory. This is the podcast to find out more about the school, the pupils, the parent community and even the staff. It’s all about discovering how girls at the school are changing the world. Now this episode is a little different because we’re speaking to two members of staff, one who’s leaving the school and another who’s stepping into her shoes. I think you know who I’m talking about, we have Sarah Raffray, the outgoing and soon-to-be-missed Headteacher at the school along with Christine Macallister, currently the Deputy Head Academic until Sarah leaves for pastures new. So in this episode we find out the reasons why Christine’s appointment is so good for the school, how the transition period works, how Christine feels about taking on the new role and what she’s looking forward to about it. It’s a lovely episode and I can’t wait for you to hear it. So come with me now as we speak to Christine Macallister and Sarah Raffray. Hear from Mrs Raffray, Headteacher and 8 year old budding palaeontologist Abigail

#01 - Welcome to episode one of Priory Podcasts, brought to you by St Augustine’s Priory. This is the podcast to find out more about the school, the pupils, the parent community and even the staff. It’s all about discovering how girls at the school are changing the world. In this episode, our very first, we speak to Mrs Raffray, Headteacher, but we have a superstar joining the pair of us and she is just 8 years old. Abigail is in Year 4 at St Augustine’s Priory and she’s into palaeontology. Now, I’ll be honest, when I hear that children are into palaeontology and they’re going to talk about it I imagine them telling me what their favourite dinosaur is and why. But that is not the case with Abigail; when you hear her speak you’ll honestly find it hard to believe she’s just 8 years old and I think you’re going to be blown away by what she has to say. But we also get a cheeky insight into what a Headteacher does in everyday life in school, always an interesting topic. That’s coming up in this episode so come with me right now as we speak to Headteacher, Mrs Raffray, and Abigail, our budding palaeontologist at school.
