For this episode, I had the opportunity to talk with Neil Thornton. A CMU student in the early 1990s, Neil was active in the Gay and Lesbian Alliance (GALA) and later cmuOUT. He was also part of a CMU delegation that spoke before the Pittsburgh City Council as they considered the prohibition of discrimination based on sexual orientation. All this and more is discussed during our conversation.

EP02: La Prima United

In this episode, I sat down with three of the newly-unionized baristas from La Prima Espresso Company: Jamie, Kit, and Nico. La Prima operates several cafés in Pittsburgh, including two on the CMU campus. Throughout our conversation, during which we discussed their recent union drive, all three guests spoke for themselves. Their views and opinions are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of their coworkers or union.

EP01: Quinten Steenhuis

In this inaugural episode, I have the pleasure of interviewing Quinten Steenhuis. Mr. Steenhuis is a 2004 graduate of Carnegie Mellon's College of Humanities and Social Sciences--now known as Dietrich College. During his time at CMU, Mr. Steenhuis was involved in anti-war activism, helped organize a campus chapter of the Green Party, and was also a member of the Student Senate.
