Robert Johnson is a retired NYPD Detective Lieutenant, author, and lifelong protector. He began his career as a nightclub bouncer in New York City during the 1980s and early 1990s before joining the NYPD in 1992, where he rose through the ranks to Detective, Sergeant, and Lieutenant. That real-world experience in crime, protection, and justice is the backbone of everything he writes.
