Descripción

What does our faith look like when the church lights are off and no one in our small group is watching? In this reflective episode, we talk about the quiet gap that can exist between the worship we sing and the way we treat people in everyday moments. From social media posts filled with anger to the way service workers are spoken to in restaurants, cruise ships, and stores, we explore a hard but honest question: Has our worship actually changed us? This conversation is in no way to call people out--but to call us to a higher standard. Join us as we worship and fellowship together! #CarnivalCruiseLine #cruising #Lord #Christian #faith #rudeness #worship

More Is Caught Than Taught

Gratitude is not something that a child is inherently born with. We live in a world where the cultural norms is always shouting, "strive for more". New Year Resolutions shout the concept of, "accomplish more than last year". Vision boards are decorated with extravagant photos of the next big house, the next grandest vehicle, the newest trends in clothing. The same clothing that you know if you could just get your hands on you'd be regarded as a success; finally on the right path of "adulthood". How are we supposed to raise our children with a humble, grateful heart when societal norms tell us to ignore the small victories so that we can swiftly move onto the greater and bigger things, most of the time ignore the very blessing in front of us?  #Jesus #Christian #Lord #gratitude #grace #vision #children #parentingtoday #ChristoverCulture
