53. The Home Team

During our YA Worship Night, we heard three powerful messages from three of our RLYA leaders — part of what Pastor Blake calls “The Home Team.” Each leader shared encouragement and insight about faith, community, and pursuing Jesus together, reminding us what it means to be a united family rooted in God’s presence.

50. Garden Sounds

In this episode “Garden Sounds” Pastor Blake explains that just as Eve listened to the serpent in Genesis 3, the enemy still seeks our ear today. If we allow the “beast of the field” into our garden, it brings disorder, eats away at what God has planted for us, and lures us into half-truths and chaos. But through Christ’s redemption, anyone can be restored. Jesus went before us, overcoming temptation in the wilderness (Matthew 4), and His Word gives us the order we need to guard our garden. When we partner with the Holy Spirit and live by God’s truth, the enemy loses his place and God’s order brings peace and fruitfulness.

49. Options to Idols and Idols to Idlers

In this episode “Options to Idols and Idols to Idlers” Pastor Blake teaches that while life offers countless options, too many choices can create confusion and become idols when they distract us from God’s direction (1 Kings 18:21; 1 Corinthians 14:33). On the other side, idols can lead to idleness when we misuse waiting on the Lord as an excuse to do nothing. Scripture warns that idleness brings lack, temptation, and distraction (Proverbs 19:15; Ephesians 5:15-16; 2 Thessalonians 3:11-12). Instead, we are called to stand firm, avoid confusion, and remain active in God’s purpose while trusting His timing.

In this episode of Just Tilling, we look at Genesis 2:15 and explore what it means to treat our lives like a garden. From Eden to the Tabernacle, the Temple, Christ, and now the Church, the story of Scripture shows how God has always desired to dwell with His people. Today, His presence lives in us—we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

47. What is your calling

In this message “What Is Your Calling” we learn that every believer has been set apart and called by God, not because of feelings or personal ability, but through Christ alone. Paul’s letter to the Corinthians reminds us that sanctification is a lifelong process—we are justified, then continually transformed by the Spirit as we draw closer to Christ. Our identity is rooted in God’s Word, not in titles or the wisdom of the world. True faith is proven by Spirit-led action, as James says, “faith without works is dead.” God equips those He calls, using even the weak and overlooked to display His glory. Ultimately, our calling is to live as true followers of Jesus, not just in name but in action, shining as light in this world and giving glory to God alone.
