Episode 7: When You're Pushing Your Edges: Creation, Rejection, and Coming Back to Yourself
This week Lisa and Desi get into the messy, beautiful, uncomfortable truth of creating something new — whether that's a business, a relationship, a new version of yourself, or all of the above. What comes up when you start pushing your edges? Everything that's been waiting to be seen.
Desi gets real about the fear of rejection, her inner child work, and what happens when you're running an online event, detoxing from sugar, and hitting burnout all at the same time. Lisa holds space, they do a live "feeler" together, and they talk about what it actually looks like to honor yourself even when it feels like letting people down.

The "Feeler" Practice A structured space for someone to fully feel their emotions and be witnessed without response or advice.
How It Works
One person asks for a "feeler" — the other agrees to hold space. The holder's only job is to be present, not to respond, fix, or advise.
Setting the Container
* Take a few breaths together to arrive and settle
* The holder sets a timer for 2–5 minutes based on what is needed
* The space should feel safe, supportive, and loving — no interruptions, no reactions
The Feels / Expressing emotions freely
* Timer starts — the person speaks freely on whatever they're feeling or thinking
* No filtering, no performance — just full expression
* The holder stays present and silent, offering their energy as support
Closing the Loop
* When the timer goes off, the holder asks: "Do you feel complete?"
* If yes → close with a few grounding breaths together
* If no → extend for another 2–3 minutes if possible, then close with breath
