Thank you all for your patience as we have taken a hiatus due to some personal matters over the last month or so. Our next guest on Real Talk - The Mental Side of Life found her purpose in helping others through discovering the benefits of running in relation to mental health. When searching for a community that would combine the two came up short, she decided to start her own community and it has blossomed into a nationwide project that has helped impact so many people across the country. Sasha Wolff is the founder and CEO of Still I Run! Their mission - "Still I Run is the country’s only non-profit running community that works to promote the benefits of running for mental health while also working to defeat the stigma, raise awareness around the topic, and help others get started running for their mental health." You can find Still I Run on their website at: https://www.stillirun.org or if you are on Instagram, their handle is @stillirun If you would like to be a guest on a future podcast episode, please send e-mail to realtalkmsl@gmail.com and we will get you scheduled for a recording to be posted at a later date. Episode 10 - An Athlete's Journey with Mental Health

As everyday individuals, we have the opportunity to watch athletes at all levels of competition participate in the sport that they love. They placed on some of the highest pedestals in our society and have some of the toughest pressure applied to them given their unique position in the world.  Our next guest is a former professional basketball player turned entrepreneur and advocate for mental health especially for athletes in today's society. He is also an author of a couple of books that are worthwhile to read: Lessons from the Game & Impact Beyond the Game: How Athletes Can Build Influence, Monetize Their Brand, and Create a Legacy. His name is Malcolm Lemmons and we are honored to have him join us on the podcast. Please follow us on Instagram at @realtalkmsl.  If you would like to be a guest on the podcast, please send an e-mail to realtalkmsl@gmail.com. We would love to have you on! In the meantime, continue to take care of yourselves, remember you are loved and we appreciate you being here in the world.
