Throughout the month of February Pastor Drew Ingram and Dr. Matthew Daude led a class on The Problem of Evil. Matthew spoke from his experience as a professor of Philosophy of Religion about the classic theist definition of God and why that creates a problem that evil exists at all. In the final session, Matthew opens up the topic of perhaps God isn't omniscient, omnipotent, and omnibenevolent - at least not in the way we thought. Pastor Drew follows up with the idea that perhaps we have misunderstood power because God exercises God's power in a way totally other to how we might expect.
