We cover many aspects of Bankart repair rehab from start to finish including: surgical considerations and influence on rehab, the significant variability in many published post-op protocols and some foundational principles, managing stiffness, mid-stage rehab and strengthening considerations, importance of serial testing and target values for rehab progressions and return to sport, dealing with biopsychosocial concerns and screening, implementation of neurocognitive and proprioceptive training , and return to sport testing. This episode provides a fantastic framework for clinicians rehabbing Bankart repairs and post-operative shoulders in general.
