Frank and Dan were asked to react to a YouTube video produced by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_9NB-YCHLA&t=33s Jay Ruane an attorney out of the state of Connecticut. Ruane attempts to give an overview of the Reid Technique, however, he falls short drastically (such as failing to explain the 9 steps). Also, in the beginning Frank and Dan read out a listener question "How do I interview a sexual assault alleged victim when their is evidence the story is made up."

Kevin DuBose currently serves as a sworn peace officer fromthe state of Texas. He is the Deputy Chief of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department- Office of Inspector General (OIG). His duties and responsibilities include managing criminalinvestigations and abuse, neglect and exploitation investigations for state and county operations. His law enforcement experience spans decades and boast alifetime of investigative experience. Kevin DuBose took his first Reid Technique of Interviewingand Interrogation seminar in 2002 and has since attended additional Reid training. Dubose has been an advocate for the ethical use of interrogation tactics by lawenforcement and supporter of the Reid Technique. In 2024 Dubose authored an article “Texas Law Enforcementand the Reid Technique” a highly cited work in which Dubose succinctly sums up the arguments by critics of the Reid Technique as well as exposing the myriad of weaknesses inherent in such arguments. Frank invites Kevin Dubose onto Reid on the Record todiscuss his article, his experience in utilizing the method and his advice for the aspiring law enforcement officer.
