Let's talk Mental Health Issues

Hi guys, welcome back to another episode of Reposado Unfiltered. I know, I know I'm slacking but I promise I strive to bring you the best to help you start your Monday right. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, Mental illness occurs when our mental health is compromised or neglected for so long that it affects our ability to function in our everyday life, and today you will hear 3 beautiful ladies and their struggles and tribulations overcoming their mental health. Overcoming obstacles and finding peace of mind isn't some strange concept that requires you to go to a retreat or become a saint; peace of mind is about making space in your life for calmness so that you can start overcoming struggles and focus on what really matters to you and being in the present. Each of these 3 ladies share with you their struggles and their most vulnerable moments that lead to prioritize their mental health and self-growth. Each one with different stories but similar outcomes. Angelina, makes it a point to know how important is to speak to young men, women and children to alert about the severity and danger they can find themselves in, and to always speak up and find comfort to speak to someone about it to avoid the downfall of mental illness in our young future generation. Fabby brings up regarding Hispanic households and our frown upon things one as a Hispanic isn't allowed to do. God forbid we feel things or speak about certain topics in a Hispanic household without being reprimanded or ask to clean to feel better Fabby as a mother of a beautiful baby girl knows exactly how to teach her the importance of communication and to know its ok to feel. Yvette speaks about personal growth, family loss and her journey on how to overcome the obstacles with anxiety and still graduating with a master's degree from Cal State LA. Safe to say each one of them has had obstacles some harder than others, and still being able to be the Bad as Women they are today. As always THANK YOU to my guest and all of you who take the time to listen to my podcast it doesn't go unnoticed.
