He bore the judgment we deserved so that we could receive the righteousness we could never earn. Day 192 | The Righteous Branch 📖 Isaiah 11 What do you do when everything seems hopeless? Isaiah gives us a beautiful picture of God's faithfulness. The kingdom of David looked like a tree that had been cut down—a lifeless stump with no future. But God made an incredible promise: "There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit." (Isaiah 11:1) What looked dead to the world was only the beginning of God's greatest work. That Branch is Jesus Christ—the promised Messiah, filled with the Spirit of God, who reigns with perfect wisdom, justice, and righteousness. Unlike earthly leaders, Jesus: 👑 Never makes a wrong decision. ⚖️ Never judges unfairly. ❤️ Never breaks a promise. 🌍 Will one day establish a kingdom of perfect peace.
