The Risky Business with Shreen podcast convenes a candid and unfiltered conversation with powerhouse Black female entrepreneurs who, like her, walked away from “safe” corporate careers to build something of their own. Their stories reflect a larger movement: in recent months, more than 300,000 Black women—many of them high-performing, highly educated professionals—have been laid off or displaced from corporate roles amid a volatile, employer-driven job market.
