The Baby Registry New Moms Are Raving About with Kaitlin McGreyes

Meet Kaitlin McGreyes and her revolutionary baby registry that will change your pregnancy and postpartum. Kaitlin is the founder of Be Her Village, a baby registry where new moms can register for SUPPORT INSTEAD OF STUFF! Yup, you read that right. Be Her Village lets moms across the U.S. register for the vital support services they need in their area like midwifery care, birth and postpartum doulas, meals, lactation consultants, and more. While everyone is grateful for the baby gifts they receive from friends and families, new parents often find themselves alone after their babies are born. What they really want is support. Nowadays, the village consists of paid support. And how amazing would it be if your friends and family could directly fund that support for you? That's exactly what Be Her Village lets you do, and more. Create your baby registry now at Be Her Village. episode Coping with Early Labor Contractions artwork

Coping with Early Labor Contractions

What do contractions feel like? How do I know if true labor has started? Once it has started, what do I do? All of these questions and more will be discussed in this week's episode of Rock Your Birth. Early labor contractions are, generally, mildly uncomfortable but not very intense. However, early labor is often the longest phase of labor. It can takes hours to days until you reach active labor. So how can you cope through this waiting period? It's so natural to feel excited and nervous when labor begins. Although contractions may not be intense at this point, your body is doing incredibly hard work to dilate and efface so your baby can eventually move through the birth canal. While your body does this work, it's important to stay relaxed, nourished, and listen to what your body needs. Get my free birth plan here [https://modernmoms.ck.page/freebirthplan]so you can feel prepared and confident going into early labor.
