FIRST STUDIO POD WATCHHHHH OUT! It's finally here - episode 5 of the rpl. effect podcast! On this episode I had the pleasure of talking with the woman who can do your hair, sand a dresser, and run her small business all while giving you the best life advice basically ever ...the one and only, Lindsey Niewland. One of the absolute hardest things about pursuing a dream, a business, a new career or honestly anything out of your normal routine is JUST GETTING started! If you feel stuck, unmotivated or like your voice doesn't matter in the world...this is the episode for you. I am really excited to share this convo with ya'll!

Getting started, becoming someone YOU believe in.... and cold brew coffee.

Excuse my energy level in this podcast (and maybe turn your volume down a notch ha!) because we are PUMPED to share this conversation we had with Blake Salyer, Founder of Winze Co. & Co-Founder of Lincoln Road Coffee Lounge. He shares his journey from starting a t-shirt company to creating a give-back coffee experience in Norton Va and everything in between. One of the (many) things we loved about this conversation is how honest Blake was/is about the self doubts and struggles he has faced along his entrepreneurial career path & the incredible advice he drops on pushing through the fears, embarking on the journey (whatever that journey is for you) and becoming a person YOU believe in along the way. In the words of Miley Cyrus..."It's the cliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimb." And on that note we say - enjoy this conversation with Blake!!

The power of Mentorship, being "dumb" in Business and adding white space to your calendar! A conversation with GoodGrit Founder & CEO Laura Quick.

Well we're moving on up  to the eastsiiiiiide to that deluxe podcast in the skyyyyy!..... But, seriously I am so excited to introduce you all to my first ever rpl. effect guest, Laura Quick! She is the Founder & CEO of GoodGrit Magazine, an amazing Mom, Wife, Entrepreneur and most importantly (to me of course ) my first ever Business Mentor. Today we are going to share our conversation about the importance of LIFE LONG mentorship, journaling, why being the dumbest person in the room is so important (unless you are sneaking back stage into a concert) and much, much more. I really hope you enjoy. Let us know your favorite part in the comments below!

An Identity crisis with a side of living in my parents basement. rpl. effect epsiode 3!

We've made it to part 3 of my story & whoooo weee...what a story to rehash. In this episode I talk about what actually caused me to sell my first business & what the "sell" actually looked like (spoiler alert..it wasn't pretty.) My battle with mental health, hitting rock bottom, losing my "identity" & *FINALLY* starting over. I hope this episode can help you avoid the mistakes I made that caused me a whole lotta heartbreak. Or, if you currently find yourself in this season THIS is your reminder that you WILL be ok & your best days are still ahead! One of my favorite quotes comes from the baseball legend Babe Ruth & it says - "It's hard to beat the person who never gives up." Your only job right now is to just.keep.going. You've got this!
