Testimonies & Battling Anxiety

In this episode, I share a deeply personal testimony about what it has looked like to step out in faith and trust God even in moments of uncertainty. I open up about the ways God has shown up in my life, often in ways I never could have planned myself, in hopes that it encourages others to trust Him more fully in their own journeys. I also talk honestly about my past struggles with anxiety and panic, and how God’s Word became an anchor for me during some of my hardest seasons. Through faith, obedience, and leaning on scripture, I’ve been able to walk into things I once believed were impossible for me. This episode is for anyone who feels afraid to take the next step, stuck in fear, battling anxiety, or wondering if God will really meet them where they are. My prayer is that this conversation encourages you to step out in faith, make room for God to move, and trust that He is faithful to carry you through whatever He’s calling you into.

New Wineskins

In this episode, I open up about a current season of transition in my life and the ways God has been using it to refine, stretch, and grow me. Through personal testimony and Scripture, I reflect on how obedience to God does not always lead us down the easy path. As believers, we can easily mistake comfort or ease for confirmation from God, when in reality, His calling may require us to walk the harder road for the sake of transformation. As we know from the Luke 5, one cannot pour new wine into old wineskin. If we are praying for God to do something new in our lives, we must also be willing to be stretched, reshaped, and made ready to carry it. My prayer is that this conversation encourages you to reflect on your own life, recognize where God is moving, and make room for Him to work in deeper ways.

What You Speak Matters

Through this passage, we confront the tension between worldly success and spiritual surrender, challenging common misconceptions about blessing, favor, and what a life with God should look like. I share a raw and personal testimony of my own conversion during one of the lowest points in my life—when everything I thought I understood was stripped away, and I was forced to come face-to-face with my need for God. This moment became a turning point, revealing the depth of His grace and the truth that transformation often begins in brokenness. We also dive into the topic of the prosperity gospel, examining how easily Scripture can be misinterpreted when filtered through personal desire or cultural influence. Rather than rushing to judgment, this episode encourages discernment—learning to rightly divide truth while remaining grounded in humility and love. A key focus is the role of personal conviction: how God works uniquely in each of our lives, and why it’s dangerous to measure someone else’s righteousness based on our own convictions. In this deeply personal episode of Salt Not Sweetener, we walk through the first chapter of Ephesians alongside the book of Jeremiah to uncover a powerful truth—God’s calling on your life was established long before you were ever born. This episode dives into the tension many believers face after encountering God’s forgiveness: the struggle to forgive ourselves. Through raw and vulnerable testimony, I share my journey of leaving the New Age and wrestling with the weight of my past, even after God had already set me free. We expose how the enemy tries to weaponize our history—whispering lies that we are disqualified, unworthy, or too far gone. But the truth is, God’s plan was never dependent on your perfection. His calling is intentional, His grace is sufficient, and your past does not have the authority to cancel your future. This episode is both convicting and healing—a reminder that if God has called you, He has already made a way. It’s time to release what He’s already forgiven and step fully into what He’s already spoken.
