I’m fresh off a long road trip, back with my family for the summer, and thinking about what I wish I could tell my high school self now that I’ve graduated college. Then we slow down and read all of 2 Corinthians 4 (NLT), line by line, and let it speak. We sit with the image of “fragile clay jars,” the reminder that our power is from God, and the call to tell the truth without twisting Scripture. We also talk spiritual reality in a broken world, how to serve others with humility, and why “pressed on every side, but not crushed” is more than a quote when you’re walking through suffering.
