Say the Pain
Content Warning: This episode does contain discussion about drug and alcohol use as a means of coping with anger and loss. Isaac walks us through his military career starting with enlistment in the U.S. Army National Guard right out of high school. He takes us through his training, deployment to Afghanistan, reenlistment into Active Duty, second deployment to Afghanistan, betrayal in the unit, loss of comrades on the field, coping mechanisms and the realities of reintegrating into civilian life. We cannot take the sacrifices of the men and women who sign up to protect our nation lightly, or the sacrifice of their families. We take this time to honor the sacrifice of the fallen as well as families of the fallen. Sponsored by: New Course Coaching: A trauma-informed coaching company focused on trauma recovery.
