Seasons of You
This episode feels like part channeled message, part journal entry, part coaching session - I'm excited for you to jump in! For years, I dreaded winter. As the winter solstice approached, I’d feel anxious. The shorter days felt heavy, the darkness felt constricting and I often wondered if I was experiencing seasonal depression. But everything changed when I discovered seasonal living. In this solo episode of Seasons of You, I share how working with the Wheel of the Year completely transformed my relationship with winter. Rather than resisting the slower, darker months, I began to understand their purpose and found a deep sense of peace in honouring the season instead of fighting it. This year brought a new layer of learning as I experienced winter while travelling through tropical Australia. Even without cold weather or cosy fires, I discovered that the seasonal shifts were still present, inviting me inward in quieter, more subtle ways. In this episode, I explore: • My personal journey from dreading winter to embracing it • Why so many women struggle during the colder, darker months • How seasonal living can support your mental wellbeing and energy • Working with the Wheel of the Year and the wisdom of winter • Honouring the winter solstice wherever you are in the world • The importance of rest, replenishment and slowing down • How I celebrated the winter solstice through ritual, reflection and family connection • Why living seasonally helps us feel more connected to ourselves and nature Winter isn’t asking you to do more. It’s inviting you to do less. If you’d like to begin living more in rhythm with your natural cycles and the seasons, access my free guide Begin Living in Your Rhythm.
