Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2224703/fan_mail/new] Life does what life will do. Seasons change. People come and go. Circumstances shift. In this episode of Seed in the Closet, we continue our conversation on inheritance—not just what we receive from God, but how we live from it while life is still happening around us. Drawing from Ecclesiastes 1:9–10 and Isaiah 43:16–21, we reflect on the reality that while life follows familiar patterns, God is always doing something new. Life may be life’n—but God is still God’n. This message invites us to: * Recognize life as something we experience, not control * Stop ruminating on what God has already done * Perceive what God is doing now * Live alert and present in our inheritance As we close out this portion of the season, we also share an update about a short break before returning in late January with new episodes, videos, and guest appearances. Listen with an open heart. Be mindful of the larger picture. And remember—what’s in you is greater than what’s around you. 🌱 Seed in the Closet Support the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2224703/support] ✨ Transformity: Transform our Identity. 🔗 Stay connected with Seed in the Closet: Instagram: @tashabmoody [https://instagram.com/tashabmoody] Facebook: Seed in the Closet [https://facebook.com/seedinthecloset] LinkedIn: Macretia Moody [https://www.linkedin.com/in/macretiamoody] Substack: SeedintheCloset.com [https://seedinthecloset.com/] 📌 Don’t forget to follow, subscribe, support [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2224703/supporters/new], and share this podcast with someone who needs encouragement today.

Heart Gardening: Releasing Rocks and Purging Thorns

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2224703/fan_mail/new] It’s possible to love God’s Word… and still have places where it hasn’t taken root. In this episode of Seed in the Closet, Macretia Moody reflects on the Parable of the Sower in Matthew 13 and the condition of our spiritual soil. Through the imagery of heart gardening, she explores the “rocks” (lies we believe) and “thorns” (unbelief and worldly cares) that can quietly prevent deep spiritual growth. What happens when subtle beliefs about fairness, suffering, or self-reliance begin to choke out truth? And what does it look like to surrender those hidden stones to God? This episode is an invitation to examine what’s beneath the surface — not with condemnation, but with grace. Inheritance

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2224703/fan_mail/new] What does it really mean when we say inheritance? In this episode of Seed in the Closet, we go beyond the idea that inheritance is only about heaven and uncover the spiritual inheritance believers already possess in Christ. Rooted in Isaiah 11:1–3, we explore the prophetic promise of the Spirit resting on Jesus—and how, through Him, that same Spirit now lives in us. Drawing connections between Isaiah’s prophecy, Jesus’ words in John 3:35 and John 16:15, and the reminder of God’s provision in Matthew 17:24–27, we discover this truth: What the Father has belongs to the Son—and what belongs to the Son has been declared to us. Wisdom. Understanding. Counsel. Might. Knowledge. Reverence for God. This is not a future promise—it is our present inheritance. In this episode, you’ll be encouraged to stop living from perceived lack and begin walking in the abundance of what God has already provided through His Spirit. 🌱 You have what you need—because you have inherited it.
