Sermons in the Park
Whoare your closest friends? More importantly, who is influencing whom? In this message from Proverbs 22:24-25, we examine God's warningabout the kind of friendship that can quietly pull a believer awayfrom wisdom and into spiritual danger. The Bible teaches that webecome like the people we spend our time with. Their attitudes shapeour attitudes. Their habits influence our habits. Their beliefsaffect our beliefs. Does this mean Christians should avoid unbelievers? Not at all.Jesus called us to be salt and light in a lost world. But there is adifference between reaching people with the Gospel and allowingourselves to be shaped by ungodly influences. Join me as we explore what Scripture says about friendship, influence, anger, wisdom, and the importance of surrounding ourselveswith people who encourage us to walk closer to Christ.
