Descripción

Why is it so hard for us to receive? So many of us live in “go mode.” We push, strive, perform, overthink, carry everyone else, and try to hold life together… but somewhere along the way, we forget how to simply receive. In this episode, I want to have a real conversation about why receiving can feel so uncomfortable for so many of us — especially when it comes to God’s love, grace, help, peace, provision, and presence. We talk about: * striving vs abiding * why so many of us feel pressure to “earn” everything * what it means to truly trust God * learning to live from spiritual abundance instead of fear * the power of the Holy Spirit living within us * why you cannot give away what you do not first receive I also share personal reflections from my own faith journey, Bible study moments that changed me deeply, and lessons I’ve learned through surrender, hardship, and walking through cancer. This episode is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and remember: God is not asking you to carry life alone. He delights in giving to His children.

It's a Take 2 Kind of Day

Ever have one of those moments where you just want to stop, take a deep breath, and begin again? In this short episode, I’m talking about the power of a “Take 2” moment in life. Not because everything fell apart. Not because you hit rock bottom. But simply because something inside of you says, “Wait a minute… I don’t want to keep going like this.” Maybe your day got off track. Maybe you’re frustrated, overwhelmed, discouraged, or just tired of carrying the pressure. Or maybe you’re realizing it’s never too late to try again, dream again, speak differently to yourself, or step into something new. This episode is your reminder that you don’t need permission from anyone else to reset your mind, your attitude, your direction, or your life. You can begin again right here. Right now. Take 2.

Perimenopause Feels Like Teenage Years All Over Again

If you’ve been feeling emotional, exhausted, forgetful, overwhelmed, anxious, frustrated, disconnected from yourself, or like your body suddenly changed overnight…you are not crazy. You may be in perimenopause. In this episode, I’m sharing my personal experience walking through the hormonal, emotional, mental, and physical changes that come with this season of life—and why I honestly believe perimenopause feels a lot like teenage years all over again. We talk about: * brain fog and forgetfulness * emotional ups and downs * changing hormones and body changes * frozen shoulder, fatigue, weight gain, and mood swings * why so many women feel alone in this transition * learning to stop fighting yourself * how to be kinder to yourself during this season * why your best days may still be ahead of you This conversation is honest, encouraging, faith-filled, and deeply practical for women navigating midlife hormonal changes and trying to understand what’s happening to their bodies and emotions. You are not broken. You are transitioning. And you are going to make it through this season.

episode How to Protect Your Peace in a Distracted World artwork

How to Protect Your Peace in a Distracted World

If you finally found peace… how do you keep it? In this final episode of the REVIVE series, I’m talking about something we rarely think about: maintenance. Because healing, peace, clarity, and spiritual growth don’t happen once and stay forever. Just like a garden, our souls require daily care. In this episode, we talk about: * why even good things can overcrowd your life * how distraction slowly drains your peace * what gardening taught me about spiritual growth * why some things need to be pruned so healthier things can grow * how to stay connected to God in a noisy, busy world * the difference between consuming and truly thriving This conversation is for anyone who feels pulled in too many directions, spiritually exhausted, mentally cluttered, or afraid of slipping back into survival mode again. Because peace doesn’t happen by accident. And neither does a healthy soul.

episode Your Story Has More Power Than You Think artwork

Your Story Has More Power Than You Think

What if the very thing you’ve been through… is the exact thing someone else needs hope for right now? In this episode of Get Well, Live Well, and Thrive, I’m talking about something God has been pressing deeply on my heart lately: sharing the harvest. Not preaching. Not having all the answers. Not standing on a stage. Just simply telling people what God has done in your life. As I’ve walked through this Revive series, God has reminded me how easy it is to get distracted, spiritually numb, overwhelmed, discouraged, or stuck in survival mode. But He also reminded me that the breakthroughs, healing, restoration, grace, and lessons we’ve lived through were never meant to stop with us. Somebody else needs the hope your story carries. In this episode, I share personal stories about marriage restoration, transformation, why our lives speak louder than polished words, and how God often uses ordinary conversations to change someone’s life forever. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to know everything. You just have to be willing to tell someone what He’s done for you. And maybe… that one conversation becomes the seed that changes everything.
