The story of Elijah is a a dynamic life of a normal man who was faithful to God, and bold in speaking against the evils of the day. His ministry revolved around removing the worship of idols and false gods that Israel had adopted, so that they would return to worship the one true God alone.

Worship Is Death

When you worship God, you give up your old self and your old desires. You die to your old self in order to be raised into a new life with Christ.

We are in Spiritual Warfare, and the enemy is after our worship.

Victory didn't come through a visible miracle, but through sustained obedience.
