Welcome to the third episode of SHIFT Z: Belonging Through Sustainable Fashion. This episode was created during Berlin Upcycling Day, co-hosted by Sustain.ALL, Amstel Bleach, and Bellamontana Studios, and recorded at Olivia Steele Studios at the Alte Münze Berlin. Hosted by Bengisu Berispek Bengisu is the host of SHIFT Z and the founder of Sustain.ALL and RHEA Kollektiv. She is an artist, facilitator, and environmental engineer working at the intersection of healing, music, and collective transformation. Featured Guests Josefina Coll — Uruguayan fashion designer and upcycling educator. Josefina creates services, workshops, and hands-on experiences that inspire people to rethink the clothes they already own. Her work empowers individuals with practical skills to redesign their garments while fostering creativity, circularity, and self-expression. Jana Heinemann — CEO, founder, and designer of IMPARI, a Berlin-based fashion label integrating design, sustainability, and social impact. Jana’s practice connects communities in Berlin and Ghana through education and circular innovation. Her work has been recognized with awards for transformation and social entrepreneurship, reflecting her commitment to material development and systems change. Anastasiya Prokhorova — Artist and founder of Amstel Bleach, a global upcycling movement that began as an experimental art project. Anastasiya sees this generation as one that repairs rather than replaces. Through her artistic exploration of vintage garments, she builds communities and transforms clothing into meaningful canvases for storytelling and expression. Liz Valentina Köser — Founder and CEO of Rebirth Studios GmbH, a sustainable Berlin-based upcycling fashion company. After working at ABOUT YOU GmbH, she founded her own studio dedicated to innovative upcycling design and responsible production. This episode explores what it means to belong through fashion, creativity, and the act of transforming what already exists.
