Descripción

Today's guest knows a thing or two about life-changing shifts. A few years ago, Sweta Vikram found herself on a cancer watch list. It was a frightening and deeply transformative experience that invited her to take a closer look at what true healing really means. While conventional medicine provided important tools and support, she discovered it wasn't the whole story for her. That experience led her back to Ayurveda, the ancient healing science of India, and ultimately toward a calling she could no longer ignore. Today, Sweta is an Ayurvedic Doctor, trained by some of the most respected teachers in the field. She's also a Columbia University graduate who brings together the best of Eastern wisdom and Western understanding to help people restore their energy, reduce stress, improve gut health, and create lives that are both successful and sustainable. What I love about Sweta's approach is that she understands the realities of modern life. Having navigated corporate burnout, entrepreneurship, health challenges, and major life transitions herself, she knows that most people aren't looking for perfection—they're looking for practical ways to feel better, live better, and reconnect with themselves. Today we'll explore healing, resilience, Ayurveda, the lessons that health challenges can teach us, and how we can pursue our ambitions without sacrificing our wellbeing along the way. Shifts & Giggles: Beth chats with Lauri Ingram about Holy Shifts and Hidden Doorways.

Welcome back to Shifts & Giggles: Conversations with Beth — where we explore the shifts that shake us up, wake us up, and hopefully leave us laughing a little along the way. Today we're talking about thresholds — those moments when we're letting go of who we've been and stepping into who we're becoming. My guest, Lauri Ingram, knows these moments well. After spending more than 40 years in the structured world of IT, she followed a calling she could no longer ignore and stepped onto a very different path. Today, Lauri helps people navigate life's transitions as a spiritual coach, hypnotherapist, energy healer, celebrant, and guide. Whether she's officiating a wedding ceremony or helping someone through a personal transformation, she's supporting people as they cross important thresholds in their lives. We'll explore what it felt like to leave a successful career and trust the unknown, why some of life's biggest transitions happen without a ceremony, and how Lauri combines conscious coaching, subconscious healing, and spiritual practices to help people reconnect with themselves. If you've ever had that feeling that there's something more calling you forward, I think you're going to love this conversation.

Shifts & Giggles: Beth chats with Dr. Walter Trinidad to find out if the body whispers before it screams - and why don't we listen?

Welcome back to Shifts & Giggles: Conversations with Beth — where we talk about the shifts that shake us up, wake us up… and hopefully leave us feeling a little lighter, wiser, and more connected along the way. And today… we’re talking about alignment.  Not just emotionally. Not just spiritually. But literally. Physically. Energetically. ALL the things. Because my guest today, Dr. Walter Trinidad, believes that sometimes the reason we feel “off” in life… is because our bodies are off too. Dr. Walter is an upper cervical chiropractor with a passion for helping people reconnect with their health, energy, and vitality in a whole new way. Over the years, his work has evolved from traditional chiropractic techniques into a fascinating approach called QSM3 — Quantum Spinal Mechanics — which looks at the body as this beautifully interconnected system instead of a bunch of separate parts. Translation? Tiny shifts can create BIG changes.  And honestly… I think we can all relate to that. Today we’re diving into the magic of alignment, the intelligence of the body, stress, tension, healing, and why sometimes one small adjustment can create ripple effects in every area of life. So if you’ve ever said: “I feel off.” “I’m exhausted.” “My body is trying to tell me something.” Or… “There has GOT to be another way…” This conversation is for you. Shifts & Giggles: Beth chats with Atty. Sharon DeFala about bringing Reiki energy healing to her law practice - and how healing and heart can absolutely belong in places we least expect.

Welcome back to Shifts & Giggles: Conversations with Beth—where we talk about the shifts life hands us… and try to find a little grace, wisdom, and yes, even a few giggles along the way. And today, I’m so happy to welcome back a returning guest who brings something truly unique to the conversation—Attorney Sharon DeFala of Oberst Law. Sharon is known as “the Divorce Attorney with a Heart,” and honestly… that says a lot right there. Because when people think about divorce, they don’t usually think about compassion, healing, or calm energy—but Sharon has built her practice around exactly that. She specializes in mediation, helping people navigate one of life’s most emotionally charged transitions with greater peace, dignity, and humanity. And what makes her approach even more fascinating is that Sharon is also a Reiki Master—bringing mindfulness, intuition, and grounded emotional support into her work in a way that’s both refreshing and deeply needed. Today we’re talking about navigating endings, finding clarity in difficult moments, and how healing and heart can absolutely belong in places we least expect. To Connect with Atty. Shifts & Giggles: Beth chats with musician and composer Gary Posner about sound as a pathway to healing.

Welcome back to Shifts & Giggles—where we explore the shifts that move us… and the moments that help us tune in a little more deeply. And today… we’re talking about sound—not just what you hear, but what you feel. Because my guest, Gary Posner, doesn’t just listen to music… he works with sound as a pathway to healing. Gary is a sound therapist, composer, and musician whose career spans decades—from touring with iconic bands like Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club… to composing Emmy Award–winning scores for film and television. And somewhere along the way, his path took a powerful shift—from performing and producing… to helping people slow down, listen differently, and experience sound as something that can truly support healing and presence. So today, we’re diving into the idea that… sound is everything—and maybe, everything is sound. To Connect with Gary Posner: http://www.simply-sound.com
