As followers of Jesus, the goal isn’t for us to detach from the world. It’s for us to be so rooted in the Kingdom to come that we directly influence the present world. It’s to have our hearts and minds set on heavenly things, so that we co-labor with Jesus in seeing His Kingdom come and His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Our goal isn’t to be so heavenly minded that we’re no earthly good. Our goal is to be so heavenly minded that we’re so earthly good.

One of the unique realities that Jesus shows us on Palm Sunday is that children are not just a part of God’s Kingdom, but announcers of God’s Kingdom. Jesus reveals that in His Kingdom, there is no age limit. There is no age limit to be a vessel. There is no age limit to announce “Hosanna to the Son of David.”
