Descripción

Stop shrinking to spaces you’ve outgrown to make others feel bigger than yourself. A big part of maturing as a woman is knowing when certain things are no longer for you, and knowing when and how to exit gracefully. I am not your competition SIS, I am PROOF it can be done.

Navigating Neonatal Loss with Amanda, Chloe, & Samantha.

SOMEONE ASKED ME: “What’s the hardest thing you ever done in life?” MY RESPONSE WAS: “Sitting front row at my baby’s Prince’Dior funeral after planning and preparing solely. Attending a funeral is okay because it’s apart of Life. Death is inevitable, but sitting on the FRONT ROW is different at your newborn’s funeral is tragic. It’s personal. It’s intimate ! The five stages of GRIEF– denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. They are often talked about as if they happen in order, moving from one stage to the other. You might hear people say things like 'Oh I've moved on from denial and now I think I'm entering the angry stage'. But this isn't often the case. Grief will make you angry, suicidal and even confused. At times I woke up so low and depressed. Times where I felt defeated and just wanted to give up. I know now that only I am in control of my emotions, life, and happiness. God has forced me to take breaks so many times, because you really have to sit back and trust the process + timing. There’s power in being still. Don’t let the world convince you that you have to be moving all the time. It’s okay to not be okay.
