Six Days Daily
The 99th running of the International Six Days Enduro wrapped up the racing action at the final "cross" test where teams competed in a gate-dropping final motocross competition. Italy held on for the overall World Trophy Team title, finishing a week of dominating the time sheets across three of four team categories, and consistently placing racers in the top of daily individual and combined team times. Josep Garcia held on to the overall ISDE individual victory after the final day, topping Italy's Andrea Verona in second. The impressive performance set Garcia further ahead in the record books with his sixth overall ISDE victory.. IN A ROW. Nobody is even close to that. He truly is the best ISDE racer in history. Also in dominating fashion, the American Women's World Trophy team kept the gas pouring on the timesheet fire as Brandy Richards and Kori Steede went 1-2 in the final, and Rachel Gutish finishing 8th. This performance, after a week of absolute domination, put the American women more than 37 minutes ahead of Australia. The team win sets America on equal footing with Australia in the record books with six a-piece, setting up 2026's running of the ISDE (the 100th) as the race to set a team apart. USA's Dante Olivera, Mateo Olivera and Grant Davis went 1-2-3 on the timesheets today, putting a positive end to a tough week for many American's across the men's division, and showcasing some speed and depth from the Junior World Trophy team members (Mateo and Davis). The Junior World Trophy and Club team honors also went to Italy at the end of the week with American teams and individuals shining bright. Details galore inside our final episode from the ISDE in Italy. Enjoy the show!
