Descripción

To date, this is my most popular sermon, preached 6 times for a variety of occasions. It contains excerpts of The Gift that Keeps on Giving the first preaching was in 2006 For the People of Color Awards in the Gary IN Diocese. the second preaching was in 2008 on the 2nd Sunday of Easter 10 years later I used an edited version for the 2018 Young Adult Summit hosted by the NCYAMA - National Catholic Young Adult Ministry Association in February of 2014 I preached a version for Fr. Richard Fragomeni’s installation to Full Professor at Catholic Theological Union Chicagothe final time was May 2021 for Partnered in Mission and included this introduction: I am anchoring this talk in the context of me, an African-American Roman Catholic woman, born in the United States in 1962. It is my hope that you enter in and find discomfort, challenge, joy, community, love, authentic witness, yourself. I find it interesting that this is the 4th sermon to use John 20:19-23 After you listen, send me a note telling me why you think this sermon was popular
