Descripción

Like most introverts, Sano and Sarah would much prefer observing the extrovert species from behind a screen (and at a distance) with a strict DO NOT TOUCH GLASS policy. However, in this episode we take the offensive (not really tho lol) as we pretty much chide at extroverts and defend introverts with an unwavering passion for the desire to not be perceived. We talk about self isolation, introvert cliches, MBTI, pet peeves, loneliness, social batteries and all the things our introvert selves are tired of having criticized by people who do not relate.  If you do relate to us, reach out! We'd love to hear your thoughts, synonymous or disagreeing-  sending you all the good vibes and loads of love~   reach out to us on https://www.instagram.com/sleepingonitpod/  more of us at https://anchor.fm/sarahsano   thanks for being here!

ep 10: why so serious? | a conversation about teenhood

Hey heyy! In this episode, we reminisce about our childhood and compare our teenhood. Navigating emotions, guilt, retaining childhood innocence, maturing and finding our place in the world are all things that make life difficult when you're growing up in the age of the internet. From finding balance and discovering your "identity", to teen activism and social media- we discuss the pressures teens face to "save the world by sixteen years old". Along with advise from out very own freshly grown adult, Sano who's figuring out how to keep her inner child alive, and a very much a model emo teenager, Sarah who's trying to find the safe zone between apathy and hyper empathy- this is a conversation about how teenagers differ generation to generation. reach out to us on https://www.instagram.com/sleepingonitpod/ more of us at https://anchor.fm/sarahsano thanks for being here

episode ep 8: what builds a relationship? | dissecting ✨third things✨ artwork

ep 8: what builds a relationship? | dissecting ✨third things✨

A very calm and chill episode where we talk about one of our favorite essays and concept- ~third things~ As opposed to our usually loud and energy packed episodes, today we mellow vibes! We discuss relationships, love, life, how we interact with people in our life, whether third things are critical to a healthy relationship, what our third things are with each other, how you can identify your third things, and an unprecedented tangent into politics and social idealism. With excerpts from Donald Hall's original essay and lots of admiration for the same- join us for the intellectualism, stay for the trivia! ft. sarah having a little too much fun with sound effects Read Donald Hall's essay, "The Third Thing" here: https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poetrymagazine/articles/60484/the-third-thing sending you all the good vibes and loads of love~  reach out to us on https://www.instagram.com/sleepingonitpod/ more of us at https://anchor.fm/sarahsano  thanks for being here!
