Mr. Heater Troubleshooting for Seniors: Turns Off with 20 lb Propane Tank

I don't know why my new Mr. Heater Big Buddy keeps turning off or refusing to light up when I connect it to a 20 lb propane tank. I have a Mr. Heater 12 foot hose and fuel filter. A viewer suggested that the oil buildup in the hose is the problem. To get it started again I have to use compressed air and blow out the heater connections and it will normally crank right up. To test out my viewers suggestion, I bought Mr. Heater Fuel Keg refillable 1 lb bottles and their refill adapter.
