Bull Moon Rising By Ruby Dixon

This week we have a Minotaur and no labyrinth! Bull Moon Rising is an adventure monster romance about Aspeth Honori, a noble lady who's home is threatened by her fathers mismanagement. She disguises herself and her maid as commoners and seeks to join the Royal Artifacutal Guild, an organization that traverses the dangerous ruins of an ancient magical civilization and plunder the remaining magical artifacts. Aspeth believes that she can use her knowledge of that civilization to find an artifact that will change her kingdoms fortune. However, women aren't allowed to join the guild without a chaperone. Hawk, a Taurian Minotaur, has been covering for his drunken guild master for years now. He has one last shot at teaching a team of five students to pass the Artifactual Guild exam but he has a much more urgent issue, the Conquest Moon, a celestial event for all Taurians that sends them into rut and Hawk doesn't have a partner. Aspeth and Hawk discover that they just might be the answer to each others issues, a marriage of convenience gets Aspeth into the guild and Hawk a wife for his needs, but that's only the first step in solving either of their problems.
