This month the SGP focuses on meditation. Often in the years of teaching this practice, there is a lot of "unlearning" that needs to happen in order for practitioners to take their meditation to a new level. One of the biggest myths surrounding this practice is that it is about feeling good. That in order for the meditation to be impactful or "true" you should feel great at the end of it. Nope, not even 1% true. You don't have to feel any kind of way in order for meditation to be beneficial, you just do it. Do you look to feel a certain way when you are done brushing your teeth? No you just do the brushing because you know it benefits your overall oral wellness. Lets bring that same POV to meditation in today's SGP.
