Money no longer holds me in its grasp since I found out I have Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. It is a fatal, progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. The average person lives for 2 to 5 years. I am in year 8 and wonder how much time remains. Shortly after the pastor left, I became the church administrator (executive pastor). Without a pastor, over 400 people discovered their Spiritual Gifts, and the church grew from 500 to 2,000! Spiritual Gifts are not a theory; they are what the Bible teaches us is the way our churches should operate.
