Descripción

Now, as I embark on my spiritual journey, I've encountered simplified definitions that are not only meaningful but also worth exploring. According to Rajyog spirituality, Ego is defined as "an attachment to a wrongful image of self," whether it be a superior or inferior image. This definition may sound straightforward, and I'll explain it further. “AN ATTACHMENT TO A WRONGFUL IMAGE OF SELF” (Superior or inferior) As simple as said. Not at all mind boggling if you are wondering how then here is my explanation. First body Then name Then family Then relationships Then achievements Possessions Properties and list goes on...

The Mystic Soul

As I said before, the soul is invisible, very subtle, cannot be seen by the eyes or even under a microscope. It is tinier than an atom. It is believed in Rajyog that a soul is as tiny as the tip of a needle but still has memories of several lifetimes stored in it. The soul has invincible features which never get destroyed because it is indestructible. A soul has no form but is often pictured star-like because a human mind cannot imagine anything formless. Hence to make it adaptable to the human mind this formless energy is often described as a point of light. But in the true sense it is just energy.  A soul has no gender; it gets a gender when it inserts in a body. The soul can only be felt just like one can feel the air, warmth, heat, love etc. The soul has not been proven yet by science geeks so there are numerous theories related to its existence.

Psychology of Attachment

Attachment is very similar to greed but is often mistaken for love and care. It is defined as an emotional bond with a thing, a person or possession. Attachment in reality is like an obsession where the mind thinks the person, situation or the object is in my control. I possess that thing and try to hold it tight just like sand in my fist. Love and attachment seem pretty interconnected, but they are distinctly different. ... The major difference is that love is a feeling directed toward the “other” (person, place or thing), while attachment is a self-centered—meaning based on fulfilling your need. It is mainly an insecurity of the human mind. Where one wants to owe or possess the other thing or person but is constantly scared of losing it
