In 1969, Gaylord Perry proved his former manager Alvin Dark to be quite a fortune teller when he hit a home run about an hour after Neil Armstrong stepped on the surface of the moon. In 1986, Greg LeMond became the first American to wear the Yellow Jersey as the leader of the Tour de France.
