Stayin In, Vibin Out
In this episode, I'm sharing one of the biggest lessons I've learned about relationships, boundaries, and recognizing who is truly meant to be in your life. I open up about my personal journey, from losing my father at just six days old, becoming a mother at fifteen, and building a life on my own through hard work, resilience, and determination, to explain how those experiences shaped the way I view loyalty, reciprocity, and self-worth. We'll talk about finding your tribe, recognizing the signs of one-sided relationships, and understanding why some people only seem to reach out when they need something from you. I share why I no longer believe that what I can do for someone should determine whether they check on me, spend time with me, or value our relationship. I also discuss how setting healthy boundaries with friends, family, and coworkers has brought me peace and revealed who genuinely supports me versus who simply expected access to my time, energy, and resources. If you've ever struggled with people pleasing, felt taken for granted, or questioned whether the people around you are truly in your corner, this conversation is for you. My hope is that this episode encourages you to protect your peace, embrace healthy boundaries, and remember that the people who are truly for you will love and value you for who you are, not for what you can do for them.
