Building Your Audience

Today, we have technology at our fingertips.  Dozens of platforms to put ourselves out there, if we want, and promote our brand, whatever it is. Yet, advanced technology is saturated with millions of competitors, and so if you are trying to make a name for yourself on Tik Tok, or U tube for example, you have to have something gimmicky. The only way to success is through failure, through bombing, through crickets in the audience, through hurtful troll comments. It's all the universal audience giving you feedback, both the good and the bad. Embrace it, absorb but do not let it eat you away, and learn from it. And try to find your niche, through the courage to try.

Learning to let go of old grudges.

I would say, that when a grudge goes past a few months, into years, it becomes a rotten thought, if  you will. Actually, even to hold a grudge for a few months is really not healthy for you. I learned that recently, I was angry at someone around March,  it took me a few weeks to get it out of my system, and I slowly opened up. I let it go, I know those other people and I will never click the way I would like, but I accept them rather than totally exile myself.

Your Voice Is Heard

Sometimes you may wonder, why everyone knows a celebrity, the the celebrity knows no one other than their immediate circle. It can lend to that feeling of not feeling counted, like you are not heard, like you are not noticed or given the recgnition that some of these famous people get daily. But your voice is heard, it is just heard in a different kind of way, kind of like the waves that Dolphins respond to, or the whistle that only the dog can hear. It is a unique frequency, it has stength and endurity of it's own, and the resonance  and magnitudes of the waves you expand from your mind and soul travels much further, than the instant gratification of a post by Joe Shmo celebrity.

Lately, I have been tuning into podcasts and radio shows more for more dose of humor. I find some of these personalities, are naturally funny and they have me laughing The whole art, is slowly steering me away from performing stand up, towards being a podcaster personality.

Don't  mind me here, I am just talking out loud, trying to figure out which direction I am going in podcasting. Was toying around with the idea of renaming this podcast "Talk Radio With Steve K" These are my thoughts in audio.
