Episode No. 3 | Let it be easy

“What if ease is actually a doorway?” This episode dives into one of the themes of my life: let it be easy. I believe in ease. I really do. I didn’t always practice it the way I do now, but I have adopted this for at least the last ten years — and everything has changed. Everything is much better. Episode 1 | Can a life be both simple and exquisite?

Earlier this week I was sitting on my couch, where I do most of my working these days. And not that the thought had never come before, but I guess I kinda decided (instead of just thinking about it): I’m gonna do a podcast. Why not? A 3 minute search: How do I create a podcast on Substack (with the tools I have)? Followed by an answer that checked out: easy. And by that. afternoon, I’d announced its release for the following weekend, which is today. Sunday. The day after my 41st birthday. Why not? I’m a person who doesn’t do too much thinking. I truly follow my gut on most things. It has never led me wrong. Of all the times I’ve considered a podcast and it didn’t seem right, why this moment felt right? I don’t know. Well, I have some ideas — I want to explore those together on a near future episode. But for now, this is the thing I’ve decided to do. It’s not perfect, and that’s okay. I tell my clients all the time — just do it. The first draft is actually supposed to be a mess! It’ll get better. Like everything does. I hope you enjoy this. I don’t know exactly what this space will become, but for now I just felt like a quiet, uplifting moment on a Sunday would be a nice thing to offer.
