Health Equity with John Balbus

Dr. John Balbus is the head of the Office of Climate Change and Health Equity (OCCHE) in the Department of Health and Human Services. He is focused on getting the word out to health systems about the funding and resources available to them, through the Inflation Reduction Act, and other federal programs. In addition to OCCHE's programs and focus, we touch on the UN COP meetings taking place in November of 2024, and the importance of personal connection in the fight for a resilience and climate smart health sector.
