T-Ports Nov 2021 Update
Since T-Ports began receiving grain on Eyre Peninsula two years ago it's estimated the increased competition has delivered $30 million dollars in benefits to the local region. T-Ports CEO, Kieren Carvill, discusses the extra traders local growers now have access to, where the grower equity program is at and progress at the planned Wallaroo terminal.
Wallaroo port development
The Wallaroo port development has begun. When operational it will have an intake capacity of 8000 tonnes per day and be able to store up to 240 000 tonnes. T-Ports CEO Kieran Carvill and General Manager Construction Mark Antushka discuss the project and the accelerated timeline to have it operational by next year's harvest.
Market competition and 2020 Harvest
November 2020 update on T-Ports bringing competition to the Eyre Peninsula. Growers are now able to sell grain to Louis Dreyfus or ADM, two of the world’s top 4 commodity traders, as well as look at flexible marketing options from Flexi Grain. T-Ports is also reducing harvest logistics costs through Freight Assist, and working with growers to ensure a smooth harvest.
