Descripción

Episode Summary Before the blood, bombs, bad decisions, and deeply suspicious mushroom lore, there were six players trying to figure out who the hell they were going to be. Welcome to the first episode of Talkin bout Daggerlight, our above-table sidecar where we step away from the main campaign and talk about the characters, choices, mechanics, and chaos behind Tales by Daggerlight. In this episode, the cast digs into how Seraphina, Pi N’kuwa, Zeph, Basagar, Severian, and Ciaran came to life. We talk Daggerheart character creation, weird inspirations, comfort classes, anti-edgelord rogues, tragic fungi, character secrets we definitely are not allowed to explain yet, and why this system makes it dangerously easy to turn a single flavor choice into a whole emotional problem. It is part character breakdown, part table therapy, part GM confession booth, and part proof that this entire campaign started because a bunch of friends at Luck Factory Games said, “Wait… should we actually make this a podcast?” So pull up a chair at the Blade’s Edge. We’re not rolling initiative today. We’re just talking 'bout Daggerlight. Content Warnings • Mild profanity • Light sexual innuendo / adult humor • Brief discussion of character death • Brief discussion of memory loss, corruption, and traumatic backstory elements • Out-of-character spoilers are avoided, but early campaign events and character concepts are discussed Music / SFX Licensing Music and sound effects licensed via Soundstripe (Pro) and Fantasy+ (Monument Studios). C1 | Bears, Bombs, Battle with the Abrogate | S1E11

Episode Summary A simple interrogation goes sideways fast. Inside the Ghosts of Ghorelitch headquarters, the crew barely has time to process one explosion before the next threat comes crashing through the smoke. Bombs, blades, magic, and one very large problem turn a locked-room interrogation into a brutal fight for survival. The Abrogate is no longer just a rumor. They are here, they are organized, and they know exactly who they came for. As Seraphina’s past catches up with her in the worst possible way, the party is pushed to its breaking point. Bodies hit the floor, old names carry new danger, and one question hangs over the city: how many people in Virelia are already marked for death? And who decides which name comes next? Content Warnings • Violence and combat • Blood and injury • Explosions and magical blasts • Interrogation and coercive questioning • Body horror and severe scarring • Threats of death • Panic and trauma responses • Animalistic violence / biting Music / SFX Licensing Music and sound effects licensed via Soundstripe (Pro) and Fantasy+ (Monument Studios). C1 | In the Room Where it Happened | S1E10

Episode Summary The safest room in Virelia might be the most dangerous one. Hidden in Ashward with the royal family, the crew finally has a moment to breathe, ask questions, and piece together what the night has revealed. The king is awake, old secrets are surfacing, and every answer seems to point toward something buried deeper than politics. But when a captured enemy offers the first real thread to pull, the room turns tense fast. Names are spoken. Loyalties are tested. Bloodlines, old wounds, and dangerous magic all collide as the party learns that the people hunting them may be closer, older, and far more prepared than anyone wanted to believe. And in Virelia, even a locked room is never truly safe. Content Warnings • Violence and combat • Interrogation • Torture / coercive questioning • Blood and injury • Magical explosion • Body horror / painful transformation imagery • Psychological distress / memory visions • Family conflict and emotional distress • Profanity Music / SFX Licensing Music and sound effects licensed via Soundstripe (Pro) and Fantasy+ (Monument Studios). C1 | What's the Procedure | S1E9

Episode Summary The procedure is simple. Survive first. Ask questions later. With the castle under attack and the royal chambers no longer safe, the party is forced into a desperate escape through hidden walls, old tunnels, and secrets buried beneath Castle Gorlitch itself. Every step pulls them deeper into a legacy of blood, betrayal, and power that none of them fully understand. But getting out alive is only the beginning. As the royal family fractures under the weight of old truths, the party must decide what comes next: run, fight, hide, or face the rot spreading through Virelia before it consumes everything left standing. And somewhere in the quiet after the chaos, old memories begin to wake.
