This episode is dedicated to everyone out there contending with perimenopause. Yes, this affects the person going through it, and it also affects the people closest to her. You'll hear my stories, who can relate to going to the doctor and feeling dismissed by their reaction? After the reading and research I have done, I share some facts and figures about the process of perimenopause. In particular, I mention the difference between traditional depression and menopausal depression that can occur in perimenopause. We talk with Christine Leon: coming through betrayal, self-judgment, and patterns from the past. Christine Elizabeth Leon has been a certified Life, forgiveness and resilience coach since 2013. She is also a certified grief educator, a Reiki & energy healer. Incorporated into her practice and coaching programs, she includes a variety of healing modalities. In 2019, Christine authored an Amazon best-selling book, “Roots of Forgiveness.” Written based on her own personal journey through to her healing - after experiencing betrayal in her love relationship. In it she maps out her 8 essential elements, that over the course of a number of years, she identified had led her to true healing, self-empowering and falling in love with her life, and man again. She is a life-long joyful seeker and learner. Christine’s personal and past painful experiences, her own healing journey and coaching experience with clients - have led her to develop deep listening with her heart.
