Aston Villa picked up a point on Sunday after we were held to a 2-2 draw by Burnley at Turf Moor. Goals from Ross Barkley and Ollie Watkins appeared to have turned things around in our favour, but defensive lapses and mistakes ultimately cost us as we dropped two points in a game that we should have won. It’s Liverpool at home on Friday night next, followed by the Europa League Final on May 20 against Freiburg in Istanbul, and so Villa simply can’t afford any more mistakes in the next two games.
