As the Hitchcock classic Psycho turns 65, James sits down with SMU film professor, Dr. Rick Worland, to examine this groundbreaking masterpiece from every angle. From it being one of the first movies where you actually see a toilet to the use of 75 camera setups to shoot the terrifying shower scene to Hitchcock having to put up his own money to get the film made.

Matter of Time

In Matter of Time, a young video game designer receives a magical time-stopping device from the eccentric owner of a toy shop, played by Stranger Things’ Sean Astin. Director Jeremy Snead, producer Jason Baumgarner and cast members Jamie Alexander and Casey Siemer answer audience questions about making the film following a screening.

In Prey, the latest installment of the Predator franchise, a young Comanche woman strives to prove herself as a hunter. James sits down with one of the film’s producers, Jhane Myers, herself a member of the Comanche and Blackfeet nations. An Emmy award- winning and PGA nominated filmmaker, Myers is a warrior for films that preserve the legacies of Native communities. And for great film in general.

Their expectation is the only films you should make are about your culture. James talks to a group of filmmakers who just want to make films about being people who happen to be Latino or Hispanic.
