G20 is a grassroots charity based in Maryhill and caters toteenagers aged 10-25, offering services and support. The organisation was started by Emily 8 years ago when sherealised kids in the local area had nothing to do and nowhere to go. The project now caters to almost 400 teenagers, and supports them with things such as: mental health, family issues, substance abuse, encouragement into work or further education, and provides many services including: Hope Cafe, G20 Youth group, extracurricular activities, trips abroad,days out, mountain climbing, and a range of other activities which help the social development of vulnerable teenagers. Emily talks about how she started the project, what servicesthey can offer and gives invaluable advice to teenagers who are struggling with life choices. This episode is not to be missed.
